We interview 10 local Realtors before listing our condo for sale. Since the lake area real estate market is not typical of most markets in the country we wanted to make sure we listed with a Realtor who knew the lake "cold."
Since we were updating it prior to selling (we owned it for 20 years) we also wanted a Realtor who could tell us what things were cost effective to do and what things were now. As such, when Susan told us she routinely purchased properties to update and sell, we were impressed.
While most other Realtors simply looked at the previous year's comps and recommended a listing price that was similar, Susan looked at the tightness of the market and extremely limited inventory and recommended a much higher price based on what she believed the market could bear.
Our condo sold for cash in 12 days.
In summary, our experience with Susan was superior in all respects - convenience, service, knowledge of the market and advice on the initial offer. Any future real estate transactions we do at the lake with be with her, and her alone. I work with a number of Realtors in my business and very few of them can hold a candle to her.

Susan is by far the Best Realtor we have had. Susan had the knowledge that was needed to find what we wanted. We wanted a peaceful Ranch Retreat, and we wanted it near the heart of Osage Beach. Stunned and Surprised, Susan found us the most peaceful 243 acre Ranch Retreat we could ever ask for. A life long dream to own a Ranch Retreat, where we don’t hear or see cars, boats, lights, noise, all the distractions of life just melt away on the Ranch. Now the kicker is, it is only 3.5 miles, as the crow flies, from the heart of Osage Beach. So location, location, location, was always key as well. Oh, and there is always a snag along the way of purchasing, right? Well it came up, and it had nothing to do with us, Susan, or the Seller. It was one of those entities that everyone tries to make sure they are up to speed, and won’t interfere with closing, but one always does.
